BMTA Guests / Steering Wheels
Last post by Joe Curto - Joe Curto Inc. - April 06, 2009, 06:02 PM
Fellows I am also on an MG list the "TABC" group, one of the fellows on the list does steering wheel restoration for some cars mostly MGs. , But what is lucky is that some of his molds do other cars. He has a mold for a Bluemals Steeering wheel as used on a MGTC but that also works for Aston Marton DB 2/4, he has just done the mold for MGTD & TF and has a good color  for the plastic , that mold is also going to be good for Austin Healey steering wheels. I will post his e mail & web site ( he is professional artist & sculptor) . His work is super

We use Vertical Response. I'm not involved with the nuts and bolts, but I can get some details.

BMTA Guests / The BMTA's Annual Conference
Last post by Alan The Lowly Admin Guy - April 02, 2009, 10:54 AM
Every year BMTA members gather to meet, network and discuss the future of the industry.  From one-man shops to multi-million dollar wholesalers and manufacturers attend and benefit from these conferences.  Conferences have been held in California, Georgia, Florida, Texas and Michigan and we're always in search of new venues and new host companies.

Some comments from our most recent conference at Engel Imports in Kalamazoo, MI:

"It truly was a great weekend!  Thank you EVERYONE for all your help, support, great information, and all the effort you put into making the conference such a success.  Being a newbie, if this is what the BMTA is truly about, I'm hooked for life!"
Jeff Schlemmer - Advanced Distributors

"...it was a GREAT weekend . I really enjoyed meeting old firends and making new ones. I've already done a first de-brief with my staff..."
Mike Engard - Ragtops & Roadsters

"Yes indeed, a fantastic conference. Great to see some old faces and make some new friends.
Thank you to all that made it possible."
Pete Mantell - Mantell Motorsport

Being able to attend this conference is only one of many reasons to consider joining the BMTA!  For more information, please visit the Background Information or contact us at 616.355.2850.

BMTA Guests / Email Marketing
Last post by Alan The Lowly Admin Guy - April 02, 2009, 10:41 AM
For those of you who have been asking, the company we use for our Email marketing is called Constant Contact.  You can find them here:

http://www.constantcontact.com

They do offer a free trial for 30 days with up to 100 contacts.

David, please chime in with the company that Motorsports Marketing uses!  (Also, if you know of another company, please feel free to list them here.  I'm not here to promote one, but give you as many options as possible.

BMTA Guests / Welcome, guests!
Last post by Alan The Lowly Admin Guy - March 30, 2009, 05:00 PM
This message board is visible to guests of the BMTA in an effort to show you what the message board is all about.

Our current members have access to a general membership discussion board where all topics from tech support to information requests are welcomed.  We also provide a buy/sell/trade forum so that members can easily tell each other what they have excess of, what they are in need of, and what they may desperately be searching for to install on a customer vehicle.

We are taking some of our more interesting posts and copying them here in an effort to show you some of our activity.  Please pardon our dust as this board is new and we are still populating it.
